Hey,

What is God leading you to start doing…or stop doing?  That’s right, stop doing.  Sometimes old things need to be pruned from our life so that God can do a new work in us.  This is where it gets tough. We can willfully allow that area to be pruned or we can try to hang on to it and resist.  It is in this resisting that hinders our spiritual growth.  Do you trust Him?

Team Work!

Wow,  we just finished up a great service today and I thought of how blessed we, as a church, are to have all the people who help set us up every week.  They sacrifice time and energy to help us reach our community for Jesus.  It sort of reminds me of the little boy who gave up his lunch to allow God to feed the crowd.  See, these dedicated people give up a part of themselves to help us transform a school into a church auditorium.   Thank you Set Up Teams for all your efforts in helping us reach people for Christ.  You never know if the chair you set up could be the chair of someone who will receive Jesus for the first time.  You all are my heroes!!!

Hey,

I grew up in Toledo, Ohio as a big fan of the Buckeyes.  I even attended college there for a breif time.  Anyways Go Bucks!!!!

My first blog on my new site!!

I love being a pastor and I love my family.  This is the season of reunions with people we either love to see or we hate to see. I love to see all my family and friends and I love this time of year.  My wife goes the extra mile to make everything special for our children and everyone she knows.  I encourage you to think of others this season!!!
